What I learned:
I heard an awesome story this week:
A guy enters a coffee shop after a tough week.
He orders a cup of coffee, finds a seat, and just sits there.
He pulls out a piece of paper and decides to challenge himself.
He has to write down every single person who made this small, enjoyable experience possible.
He begins with the obvious.
He thanks the barista who made his drink.
…Then the manager for this store
….Then the delivery drivers
Then he challenges himself to see if he can keep going.
…The tech who installed the HVAC system.
…The guy who built his chair.
…The person who installed the windows.
You get the idea.
He keeps going and finally gives up.
Not because he’s out of names.
...But because his hand hurts
“For all of us are somehow responsible to everyone for everything.”
